The blank page…
It terrifies me.
It draws me back time and again.
Blank it remains.
I’ve taken to rereading all my writing books.
Writing prompts…still the page is blank.
Writing advice…
Blank it remains.
Building worlds.
Nonexistent.
Where have all my stories gone?

They’ve been put on hold by the necessities of life you’ve been forced to deal with.
You’ve carried a back-breaking load for many years and been through a major upheaval – losing Jay and relocating your life (not just to a new home but to a whole new state) – over the last several months. You’ve been busy lately establishing your home, making it your space in the world. All of that has kept you busy, busy, busy.
Get your house set up, make it your home, then kick back and relax a bit, devote every minute you can to things you enjoy. Recharge your batteries, in other words.
Then when the ideas start flowing, when the juices begin to percolate, pick up that pen, fire up that computer, and write, write, write.
If there’s anything I can do to help, let me know.
