Page for comments on the Doggoned excerpts

I decided that since I don’t have the Doggoned book excerpt pages open for comments I’d set up this page for comments.

I’m sure there have been more than a few people out there who have been dying to make comments on them.   Believe me, I welcome them.

Please indicate which one of the three books that you are making the comment on.  I’ll make that easy for you– DD=Doggoned Dead, DB= Doggoned Bones, and DBE=Doggoned Bullseye.

Thought your excerpt was really cute!! Good Luck with publication, don’t ever, ever, ever, ever, give up! (I think Winston Churchill said that-Martian Child movie). Absolutely don’t give up, if you meet with resistance, there’s always ebooks–it’s getting harder and harder to get published in this economy, or at least that’s what several authors have blogged about lately (there have been cuts on book tours even).

DB. Like this very much: “Russ was dressed in ratty old jeans and a dirty T-shirt. Most people who know him as a cop don’t recognize him when he’s not in uniform. ” Tone of writing very conversational and flows.

Thank you! That sentence does come from true life. It always amazed DH and me when people who knew him when he was working didn’t recognize him when he wasn’t wearing his uniform.

DD – I was telling my Husband about the series and he commented that bull terriers create more mysteries then they solve, like; “Where’d my sandwich go?” or, “What happened to the steak I took out to the BBQ?” and “Honey, didn’t you put the appetizers on the coffee table earlier?” At least, in our house…
