Debbie, I planted that magnolia tree thirty seven years ago and at that time it was only about a foot tall. We will all miss you at the conference! K, on the E-mail change.

Yes, that was his last major project before his MS kicked his a**.
It’s our favorite place to sit and relax. Although, once it gets too warm I sit out there by myself. It’s great place to enjoy that first coffee of the day.

I particularly like the pond view from under the magnolia tree. At one time, magnolias came to feature in a novel I was working on.

If I ever move from this house the two things I’ll miss are the magnolia and the pond.
Pics are as pretty as I remember them and I like the new ones you added as well. Those Koi are neat…do you have them trained to eat out of your hand?
Yes they do eat out of hands like the old ones did. Now that you are only 2 hours away maybe you’ll be able to see them in person some time.

We were pretty devastated back in 2006 when some nasty person dumped battery acid in the pond and killed all our Koi. It took a year to get the pond back and alive with new Koi, frogs, and plants.
The sweet young man who gave us that painting of Koi brought us a greater gift than he could have ever imagined. He gave us back our faith in our fellow man.
